The Noordkaper 47 Classic is a very robust and seaworthy Dutch quality yacht. The stage of completion meets the highest standards and on board you'll find all the luxuries and conveniences that make life on board so pleasant. The boat was designed by Mr. Martin Bekebrede, has the CE-A certificate and is therefore suitable for ocean crossings and living on board. With raised centerboard, the draught is only 1.60 and thus a large sailing area is accessible. This yacht has great looks; on the one hand as tough she is saying; "no tovább sea too high for me"; tasteful and refined on the other side. The deck is easily accessible with wide decks and a sturdy stainless steel guard rail. Thanks to the two-component paint system the ship's steel is well protected and there is no trace of rust. In vital areas where lines might sheeve a stainless steel protection is welded. At the helm, the autopilot is placed next to a switchboard for the hydraulically operated weighted centerboard. The engine can be operated from the helm but also from the deckhouse so that you have a choice to steer outside in nice weather or to sit in the sheltered warm deckhouse in bad weather. The rigging is modern and the sails are easy to reef. The mainsail is rolled down into the boom with the Leisure Furl system. The furlers are electrically operated so sails can quickly be taken away. The jib is self tacking so on beat courses one only has to change the yankee sheets. The advantage of the chosen rigging is that the sail point is low and the sails can perfectly be adapted to the circumstances at hand. The mahogany timbered interior is made with great craftsmanship with beautiful curves and solid partitions. The wheelhouse is both a great place when sailing but also in the harbour to sit and enjoy views all around. Right is the inside steering and navigation area with large plotter. Two steps down you enter the salon with left the sofa and two chairs. The galley is placed right and designed so that one can work well under slope at sea. One can position well braced against the table clamps and with the feet under the cabinet. Above the electric stove with oven is a gilded extractor hood. Furthermore there are a microwave, a water-cooled refrigerator and a freezer. The owners cabin in the bow has air conditioning. The bed has excellent mattresses and has electrically adjustable slats. There is an en-suite bathroom with separate shower. To port is a guest cabin with large double bed and en-suite bathroom. The engine is easily accessible via the hatch in the cockpit floor. All the technique is performed to high standards. The electronics have never failed after years of service. In addition to the Perkins main propulsion engine is an 8kW Mastervolt Whisper generator so as to electrical power there is no shortage. The Noordkaper 47 "Marsicht" came on the water in 2001 and is in good condition. The boat is completely ready to take you to any destination.
